About us

The London Market Actuaries' Group (LMAG) consists of around 1000 qualified actuaries working in the Lloyd’s and London Market. Membership is open to qualified actuaries working within the London Market, and a large proportion of the qualified actuaries working in the London Market are members of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). Members are involved in the full range of actuarial work within the market.

Monthly meetings have a mix of actuarial and guest speakers. Attendance varies from 150-250.

Who's Who in the Society

Cian CreedonCian Creedon, Chair

Cian leads the Reinsurance Pricing team at MS Amlin. Prior to this, he worked in a variety of roles in broking, primary insurance, reinsurance, and consulting which have afforded him a broad spectrum of experience across pricing, capital modelling, legacy M&A and reserving.

Cian has been volunteering with LMAG since 2018 and is also active in the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. Earlier in his career, Cian chaired the London Market Students’ Group – which could be thought of as the younger sibling to LMAG.
