The Banking Community was set up to promote actuarial involvement within banking and to support our members in banking, those interested in banking as a career, or those wanting to find out more about actuaries in banking.
The digital platform has a global reach which makes the community a truly international one. Here you will be able to join events, participate in banking chat, research, and educational events, provide input into consultations, and share your own experience and knowledge. There is also a library of past presentations and reading material covering technical aspects, careers, and how you might transition into banking from other disciplines.
Via the digital community, students will be able to find out about the new SA & SP Fellowship pathways in banking. Further information on these can also be found on the IFoA’s banking lifelong learning webpages.
There is a Banking Community Leadership Team that you can meet and look to join as a member. Elections are held once a year. Volunteers prepared to get involved, host events, or to share their experiences are very welcome.
