This working party research the current state of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in the UK, so that users of the research can gain a better understanding of the opportunities and limitations these EHRs may provide, particularly in underwriting and pricing Life, Health & Care products.

Key objectives

The aim is to carry out and publish a piece of research to be useful to anyone wanting to use Electronic Health Records in Life or Health & Care underwriting or pricing. The research should serve as an overview of the current position of EHRs in the UK and list the considerations and limitations in using them. This may include recording data, accessibility of date and use of data by insurers.
