The State Pension Age Working Party will identify the factors we would expect the bodies making recommendations to Government on an age related SPA to take into account
Key objectives:
- identify those matters where the actuarial profession would be expected to have material input
- review and highlight current relevant actuarial material that would support such input to the recommending body
- identify any actions the profession might put in hand to ensure we have sufficient (additional) appropriate data, analysis and conclusions to provide the expected input
- propose our current initial views on certain factors.
Outputs:
- sessional event in Edinburgh March 2015
- CIPs seminars 2015
- questionnaire circulated at 2014 pensions conference to obtain members views
- CHIPS events 2014
- outline paper to prompt discussion with other interested bodies
