PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers International Association) is a global professional association, with particular interest in the banking and wider finance sector.
PRMIA's mission is to provide an open forum for the development and promotion of the risk profession. Their focus tends to have been on banking technical challenges, particularly around quantitative aspects of models. Membership of PRMIA varies from free to a small charge, with access given to webcasts (for example).
