Exemptions from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ (IFoA's) professional exams

Depending on the modules taken and the grades obtained, completion of these degree programmes at UNSW can lead to recommendation for exemption from some or all of the Fellowship exams shown.

Bachelor of Actuarial Studies
Combined degrees with the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies
Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8
Master of Actuarial Studies
Master of Actuarial Studies (Extension)
Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8

These subjects along with the Part II UNSW courses are the Associate Membership course of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.

This is based on the agreement between the university and the Actuaries Institute, who we contact for official confirmation of results.
