Tuesday 25 July 2017 17:00 - 20:00

The topic for 25 July will be "Legacy of the banks". The involvement of banks in the de-risking market from c10-15 years ago brought many developments, many of which are still with us today. We'll have three short presentations on the topic to lead into Q&A, discussion and debate.

Pre-event: Collateral teach-in

We will also run a technical pre-event from 4:15-5:15pm. Speaker(s) TBC.

The topic area will be collateral. The theme will be along the lines of "You arrive to the office at 8am and there's an email in your in-box stating that one of your counterparties has defaulted. What happens next?". The session will seek to take delegates through the various issues and potential outcomes.

Help us enrol new members!

The success of the group depends on having a large and vibrant community of members. Please forward this email to colleagues, whether they are qualified actuaries or students. To join all they need to do send a request by email (+ confirm whether they'd like to attend the 25 July event).

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 25 July.

We are delighted to confirm our speakers as Steven McEwan (Hogans Lovells), Andrew Muddle (Munich Re) and Francis Fernandes (Lincoln Pensions).
