The actuarial skill set has much to offer the banking industry. So many of the skills that actuaries acquire during their working life translate across to the world of banking and yet banking is perceived as an alien environment to many actuaries. But is it?

In this webinar Louise Pryor, president elect and herself a bank NED will discuss and compare notes on “Inside the Banking Boardroom – Opportunities for Actuaries” with three fellow actuaries. All are successful NEDs within banks of various types – a traditional diversified banking Group in Ireland, a South African retail bank and a new kind of UK digital bank.

Hear how our panellists found their way into banking, the issues their organisations face, what the actuarial profession can bring to a banking boardroom. Ask your questions too.
