As the industry prepares for Pensions Dashboards, we have lined up a specialist panel who is at the heart of the ongoing work in this area. Hear the latest developments, future proposals and have the opportunity to put forward your questions to our speakers.

Speakers:

Chris Curry: Principal of the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP)

Chris Curry was appointed in 2019 on a part-time basis as Principal of the Pensions Dashboards Programme at the Money and Pensions Service. Chris reports into Chair of the Money and Pensions Service, Sir Hector Sants.

Chris brings valuable expertise and insight gained in his other role as the Director of the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) where he continues to work part-time. Chris has worked on important projects such as the Department for Work and Pensions Auto-Enrolment Review Advisory Group in 2017, where he was co-chair and led on providing advice on the theme of Contributions.

At the PPI Chris has authored and presented a number of research reports analysing pensions (including state, private and public sector pensions), pension reforms and other provision for retirement income.
Chris started his career as an Economic Adviser at the Department of Social Security (now the Department for Work and Pensions), before joining the Association of British Insurers as Senior Economist.

Chris has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick, and an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.
 

Katy Harries: Providing legal advice on Pensions Dashboards at Sackers

Katy is an associate directors at Sackers, where she has been advising trustees and employers on a wide range of general pensions issues for over 10 years. At the beginning of this year she moved over to the firm’s know-how team, focusing on keeping clients and her colleagues up to date on the latest pensions developments. She has a particular interest in dashboards, sitting on the firm’s dashboard group, and was responsible for putting together Sackers’ response to the recent dashboard consultation.

 

Geraldine Brassett: Leading administration work on Pensions Dashboards at Capita

Geraldine is a Client Relationship Director within Capita’s Pension Pillar.

As well as being accountable for service delivery and strategic direction for her own small portfolio of large third party administration clients, Geraldine is also responsible for the overarching data solution that is available to our clients.  Geraldine also provides support on broader client initiatives such as the analysis, client impact and implementation of legislative and market changes.  

Geraldine has a wide experience of all aspects of administration from both an in house and third party perspective and has extensive technical knowledge and practical experience covering benefits delivery, governance and management.

Geraldine is an FPMI. She chairs the industry-wide Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) Equalisation Working Group and also the PASA working group responsible for producing guidance in relation to other GMP related matters.  Geraldine is also a member of the PASA Pensions Dashboard Working Group.

Paul McGlone: Chair of the Joint Industry Forum on Pensions Dashboards

Paul McGlone is an actuary and a Partner at Aon, where he has worked for over 30 years. His primary role is advising trustees of DB pension schemes, but alongside that he leads Aon’s team providing advice on cyber resilience to pension schemes, and is part of Aon’s team dealing with the implementation of pensions dashboards. Paul is former President of the Society of Pension Professionals, sits on PLSA’s Policy Board, and chairs the Joint Industry Forum subcommittee on pensions dashboards.
