Management Board has direct management responsibility for operational matters related to the Profession’s strategy, corporate plan, policy and operational plans, and all matters related to the Profession’s resources. Management Board meets monthly and reports regularly to Council on its activities and progress. These reports will be made available to members.

Audit and Governance Committee
The main role of the Audit and Governance Committee is to ensure that the Profession practises good governance and sound financial management. The committee has an oversight role rather than direct responsibility for financial and governance matters. The committee gives its views to management on the financial statements, external and internal audits, risk management and internal controls, as well as other ad hoc issues.

The Scottish Board has the responsibility of maintaining and continuing to stimulate a robust and vibrant actuarial community in Scotland. The 10 members of the Council representing the Scottish constituency form the Scottish Board, which reports to Management Board:

Member Support Executive Committee
The Member Support Executive Committee promotes the engagement of members with the Profession and ensures that the Profession delivers services designed to support members in their careers. It also oversees the work of the practice area executive committees and member interest groups.

Professional Regulation Executive Committee
The Professional Regulation Executive Committee is responsible for all matters relating to professional affairs and is responsible for developing and monitoring a strategy for activities in that area.
