Africa newsletter - January 2013

Welcome to our Africa newsletter As our international presence increases, we want to be able to reach you in a more personal way so that you get a feel for the sort of things we are doing to help build the membership community. Newsletters like this are being sent regularly to our members in different parts of the world to ensure that you feel up to date with the activities that the Profession is engaged in. What we need from you however are updates on activities that you are involved in, so that we can advertise your events, talks and presentations and support you in many other ways. You can send your ideas to our international newsletter team.
What you will see in this newsletter are some of the events being held by members of the Profession to educate other members in Africa about the work that the actuaries do and what we, as a Profession, are doing for you. We encourage you to come along to meet with our representatives to network with your peers or to provide feedback through volunteering or participating in your local member interest group.
