Exemptions from professional exams
Depending on the modules taken and the grades obtained, completion of these actuarial degree programmes can lead to recommendation for exemption from some or all of the subjects below.
BSc in Actuarial Science Course information
- Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8
MSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science Course information
- Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8
MSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Management Course information
- Exemption from Core Applications Stage subjects: CA1, CA3
- Exemption from Specialist Technical Stage subjects: two subjects from ST2, ST4, ST5, ST6 and ST9
- Actuarial Management students can also (with the permission of the MSc programme director) take optional courses that might lead to exemptions in CT1 to CT8.
