Active member interest groups (MIGS)

Below represents the list of existing member interest groups (MIGS).

Ageing population interest group Studying aspects of demographic change and its implications for the UK population.
Banking interest group To develop the profession's understanding of banking and facilitate the placement of actuaries at working level within banks
Damages interest group Focuses on issues relating to awards in respect of damages and personal injury
Equity release interest group To identify, inform, educate and explain equity release as a social policy

Independent Financial Advisers MIG is for actuaries who work as financial advisers or have interest in this area
Mergers and Acquisitions Focuses on two key areas; the Insurance Mergers & Acquisition and the pensions aspect of both domestic and international corporate/private equity transactions
Micro-insurance group Furthering actuarial learning and involvement in the field of micro-insurance.
Non-Executive Directors' (NEDs) The MIG is a focus group for actuaries who are experienced NEDs or aspiring to be NEDs.
Resource and environment member interest group Identifying and researching environmental issues actuaries can become, or will need to become, involved in.
The actuarial network at Cass Organises events aimed at Cass alumni and wider audiences.
