Below represents the list of existing member interest groups (MIGS).
| Ageing population interest group | Studying aspects of demographic change and its implications for the UK population. |
| Banking interest group | To develop the profession's understanding of banking and facilitate the placement of actuaries at working level within banks |
| Damages interest group | Focuses on issues relating to awards in respect of damages and personal injury |
| Equity release interest group | To identify, inform, educate and explain equity release as a social policy |

| Independent Financial Advisers | MIG is for actuaries who work as financial advisers or have interest in this area |
| Mergers and Acquisitions | Focuses on two key areas; the Insurance Mergers & Acquisition and the pensions aspect of both domestic and international corporate/private equity transactions |
| Micro-insurance group | Furthering actuarial learning and involvement in the field of micro-insurance. |
| Non-Executive Directors' (NEDs) | The MIG is a focus group for actuaries who are experienced NEDs or aspiring to be NEDs. |
| Resource and environment member interest group | Identifying and researching environmental issues actuaries can become, or will need to become, involved in. |
