Last year Council asked IFoA members to tweet inspiring definitions of #WhatActuariesDo. The response was superb, and we now want your help in taking these ideas one step further.

Council has selected some favourite tweets, listed below, to inspire you to make a short #ActuarialPitch video that really sells the benefits of actuarial skills to employers.

Your #ActuarialPitch should be no more than 30 seconds long and can be as serious or as lighthearted as you want. Just make your message loud and clear!

Council will be selecting favourite #ActuarialPitch videos and we'll use them at forthcoming conferences, on our website and on our social media channels where they will reach a wide audience. Your #ActuarialPitch will help us find decisive, concise and authentic ways to promote the benefit of actuarial skills to employers.

Recording a short film for Twitter via the Twitter app or on a mobile device is easy - visit Twitter to find out more about recording and sharing videos in your tweets.
