Advanced pricing techniques in general insurance
The aim of this working party is to explore new techniques and ideas of pricing in general insurance. It is a new working party formed following GIRO 2012.
Key Objectives:-
Explore new techniques and pricing ideas, such as:-
- Mathematical techniques
- Statistical techniques
- Actuarial software
- Implementation techniques
Further objectives may include an overview/survey of market developments on pricing to identify hot topics for review.
Ouputs:-
To present a workshop at GIRO 2013 (GIRO40).
