Capital modelling in emerging markets
This working party looks into the current legislative requirements of a number of emerging markets with regards to capital modelling. The working party formed in 2011.
Key Objectives:-
- To provide a guide for the legislative and commercial environment for actuaries working in emerging markets
- What actuaries can do to add value to their company and industry
- What challenges and opportunities are there for actuaries working in such an environment.
Outputs:-
- Workshop at GIRO 2012, focusing on the Asian market
