General Insurance Committees
This page outlines how the General Insurance practice area operates.
The GI Practice Executive Committee (GI PEC) operates within terms of reference, the primary focus being:
- to support members in the UK and overseas and to promote high standards of actuarial practice in general insurance;
- to work with the Public Affairs Directorate on responses to external consultations relating to general insurance;
- to stimulate and provide a focal point for knowledge development, particularly research.
