Jules Constantinou

Jules Constantinou of Gen Re LifeHealth is the assistant general manager: head of marketing, Gen Re Life (since October 2003). He studied a BSc (statistics and actuarial science), University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (1984) and qualified as a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries in 1991.

He was previously, managing principal: alternative solutions: Gen Re (from May 1999 to September 2003) and general manager: head of marketing and product development: Gen Re Life, South Africa: from March 1993 to April 1999. He started his career at Metropolitan Life (South Africa) in 1987, where he did a variety of actuarial product development and management roles in individual and employee benefit businesses.

Jules presented a paper at the 2006 life convention entitled: "A whole new world .... or implications for life insurers of CP06/16 on the risk management and pricing of term assurance".
