- Entry into role fairly straight forward given background in investment consulting, and involvement within that role in marketing and business development.
- The transition from investment consultant to consultant relations has been tougher than I initially expected. The differences are not that significant in terms of new skills or capabilities but the challenge arises from a totally different context in which to apply these skills. (I am not an internal investment consultant for LBAM - but I am to use my knowledge of being an investment consultant to help LBAM's external relationships with consultants.)
