Research in the finance and investment area

There are two types of research the IFoA is involved in:

• External research (research undertaken by universities and other external agencies which receives funding and/or support from the IFoA)
• Member-led research (volunteer research working parties established by members and overseen by the Boards)

Cross practice research is encouraged and the IFoA has a cross practice research committee which regularly reviews the research activity in all practice areas to link those which have a common discussion area.  See below for the latest at a glance list of the member-led research taking place across all practice areas.
