Forthcoming Disciplinary Tribunal Panel Hearings

Disciplinary Tribunal Panel Hearing, 23 and 24 April 2024, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Online Hearing. The hearing is public and will commence at 08:30 (UK time).

The charge against Mr Khan relates to the period January and February 2015. The allegations include that as a Director of Company A he formed a Partnership (Partnership B) which presented a conflict of interest that was not allegedly disclosed. There are separate allegations relating to causing, instructing and/or allowing emails to be sent from Partnership B to clients of Company A claiming that their actuarial services would now be provided by Partnership B. The conduct is alleged to be dishonest and in breach of the Impartiality, Integrity and Communication principles of the Actuaries’ Code (Version 2.0) and, if established, to constitute misconduct.

Disciplinary Tribunal Panel Hearing, 14 May 2024, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Online Hearing. The hearing is public and will commence at 09.30 (UK time).

The charge against Ms Zhou relates to submitting an exemption application to the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with an altered academic transcript and/or cover letter for the academic year 2020/2021 and an altered exemption letter. The conduct is alleged to be dishonest and in breach of the Integrity Principle of the Actuaries’ Code (Version 3.0) and, if established, to constitute misconduct.
