How to complain about a member

We regulate our members to ensure our members adhere to their professional requirements and to maintain public confidence in our members.

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries deals with allegations about professional misconduct under the terms of its disciplinary scheme.

If you are considering making a complaint about a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, we recommend that you read the note How to complain about a member.  This will provide you with information about the types of allegations the Profession will consider, how you should go about making an allegation, a summary of the disciplinary process and, in the event that the Profession is unable to assist with your complaint, details of other organisations who may be able to help.
