Professional Skills Training

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) is keen to help members maintain and enhance their professional skills and to promote confidence in the work of actuaries in the public interest.  For this reason the IFoA has introduced Professional Skills Training to suit all members at various stages in their careers..

The Professional Skills Handbook gives details of the revised Professional Skills Training requirements is designed to help members to comply with the requirements as mandated by the IFoA.

The new regime comprises the following three stages:

• Stage 1: Online Professional Awareness Test (OPAT)
• Stage 2: Professional Skills Course (PSC)
• Stage 3: Professionalism for Experienced Members
