B06: Making insurance less sexy

The European Court of Justice ruling on 1 March 2011 outlaws the use of gender as a rating factor in insurance from 21 December 2012.  This will have signficant implications for insurers.  We will examine the implications of this development in relation to reserving, pricing and risk management issues plus potential implications for other underwriting factors, particularly age and health status.
