Guidance on how CA2 Model documentation, analysis and reporting is marked

This guide has been prepared to help students prepare for the CA2 Model documentation, analysis and reporting exam.

It sets out the criterion for passing CA2, together with the general format of the marking schedule which is used by markers in assessing a candidate’s submission.

The pass criterion is that the audit trail and summary give, overall, a reasonable overview of the model and results which could be followed by a senior actuary and could be corrected and worked on by a fellow student.
