Working paper 66. Proposed graduations of the CMI SAPS 2004-2011 mortality experience based on data collected by 30 June 2012.

Working paper 66 contains a consultation on the proposed “S2” graduations of the CMI SAPS mortality experience for the period 2004 to 2011 based on data collected by 30 June 2012.

Proposed "S2" tables

It should be stressed that the mortality tables in this spreadsheet are issued as part of a consultation process, and may change before final publication.

Working paper 65. Analysis of the mortality experience of pensioners of self-administered pension schemes for the period 2004-2011.

Working paper 65 contains an analysis of the dataset for 2004 to 2011 which has been used for the proposed graduations. The mortality experience for this dataset is compared against the unadjusted "S1" series tables and the "S1" series tables projected with the CMI Mortality Projections Model, CMI_2011. Results are provided for the various pensioner categories, by calendar year and split into pension amount bands.

An executive summary has been produced for Working Paper 65 and is contained in a separate document. This provides a brief synopsis of the working paper to give readers an insight into the analysis that is presented. It is a standalone document but the SAPS Mortality Committee encourages readers to refer to the full working paper, especially if using the results.
