Following the restructuring of the FRC on 2 July 2012, the BAS no longer exists.

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries is responsible for the setting of ethical actuarial standards. The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) is responsible for the setting of technical actuarial standards. The guidance listed here is referred to in the 2013 Core Reading but does not necessarily represent the current position.
