Learning portal for SA6

The following pages contain additional resources which you may find useful in order to obtain a different viewpoint on topics presented in SA6. You are not expected to have read all of the items but you should familiarise yourself with current investment issues and the general market background facing institutional investors in the 18 months preceding the examination session, together with the solutions (and background) being debated by the various stakeholders.

The following pages contain links to useful reference material:

  • Actuarial standards
  • Country reports (you must be logged in to access this page)
  • Financial, economic and investment dataset
The collation of the dataset was commissioned by the Society of Actuaries in Ireland as a piece of academic research aimed at providing information to actuaries and others who are interested in exploring trends in equity returns, bond yields, inflation and other financial parameters over long periods of time. The dataset may be of interest to students studying for SA6 and Fellows for CPD purposes.

Additional resources may be added to the portal as they are identified to be of interest and informative for students about latest investment developments.
