The following additional vacancies in the General constituency arose during the year:
- Patrick Lee resigned from Council in September 2020
- Mahidhara Davangere sadly died in May 2021.
There were nine vacant General constituency seats in this year's election, and 14 candidates stood for election. The following were elected:

- Sunil Sharma
- Malcolm Slee
- Nick Spencer
- Mark Williams
- Masimba Zata
Scottish Constituency
The retirees from the Scottish constituency at the end of the 2020/21 sessional year are:
- Keith Jennings
- John Taylor
There was one vacant Scottish constituency seat in this year's election. Only one candidate stood for election, and thus was elected unopposed.
