IFoA Council Elections 2020

The results of the 2020 Council elections were announced at the IFoA's AGM on 15 June 2020, as follows:

General Constituency

The retirees from the General Constituency at the end of the 2019/2020 sessional year are:

  • Nico Aspinall
  • Lee Faulkner
  • Malcolm Slee
  • Paul Sweeting
  • Kartina Tahir Thomson
  • Perry Thomas
  • Michael Tripp

(in addition, Mahidhara Davangere’s term as a co-opted member of Council, which began in February 2019, also concluded.)

There were seven vacancies and 15 candidates stood for election.  The following were elected:

  • Cherry Chan
  • Mahidhara Davangere
  • Mukami Njeru
  • Danny Quant
  • Kartina Tahir Thomson
  • Peter Tompkins
  • Maribel Vasquez Flores
     

Scottish Constituency

The retirees from the Scottish Constituency at the end of the 2019/2020 sessional year are:

  • Jules Constantinou
  • Dermot Grenham
  • Bruce Porteous

There were three vacancies and seven candidates stood for election.  The following were elected:

  • Dermot Grenham
  • Sarah Neil
  • Craig Ritchie
