The Society of Northern Ireland Actuaries (SoNIA) was launched in 2012 with a view to facilitating training and professional development to local actuaries and actuarial students
Its membership draws from students training to become actuaries on the Queen's University Management School's Actuarial Science and Risk Management degree through to qualified actuaries primarily working in the pensions industry.
The society has proved to be an excellent platform for discussion and debate on current issues in the profession, helping to strengthen the local actuarial community.
Meetings of the society are generally held at the offices of Mercer Limited (Bedford Street)
Please register your interest in attending by emailing our events officer, Nicola McGarel
If you wish to join SoNIA please contact our subscriptions officer, Ciaran Harris, for a subscription form.
