The Society of Northern Ireland Actuaries (SoNIA) was launched in 2012 with a view to facilitating training and professional development to local actuaries and actuarial students
Its membership draws from students training to become actuaries on the Queen's University Management School's Actuarial Science and Risk Management degree.
The society has proved to be an excellent platform for discussion and debate on current issues in the profession, helping to strengthen the local actuarial community.
Meetings of the society are held at the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast
Please register your interest in attending by emailing our events officer, Bronagh Heaney in advance of the meeting.
If you wish to join SoNIA please contact our subscriptions officer Karen Clarke for a subscription form.
Future events will be advertised here.
