The Wessex Actuarial Society (WAS) (formerly Bournemouth Actuarial Society) was founded in 1980
The aim of the society is to provide opportunities for all members of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and other interested parties to meet and discuss any topics of interest.
The Society has links with Southampton University Actuarial Society (SUAS) to provide any assistance to students who are interested in joining the profession and covers the south coast area, including a wide coverage in Hampshire, Salisbury and Bournemouth, where meetings are normally held. The Society aims to organise a variety of CPD talks over the year.
Non members are very welcome. Please contact the Honorary Secretary for more information or to attend any of their events.
Subscription costs - £5 per year
