We have made completing your IFoA CPD (Continuing Professional Development) – and gaining real professional benefit from the exercise – easy for all our members.
Members need to:
- complete 15 hours of CPD (including 2 hours of professional skills training content, but otherwise any relevant learning from any source)
- keep a record of your learning on the IFoA website or however you see fit
- carry out a ‘reflective practice discussion’ with an appropriate person and also with the IFoA, if selected
You do not need to do this if:
- you are a student member – instead you have requirements under personal and professional development
- you work in an organisation employing the QAS CPD Scheme
- you are not currently a practising actuary
Practising Certificate holders have extra CPD requirements to meet.
