The IFoA Antibiotic Resistance Working Party has studied the rise of Antibiotic resistance (‘ABR’) and how it has become an increasing concern to the medical professions, health services and governments of the world’s major economies.
The IFoA Antibiotic Resistance Working Party has studied the rise of Antibiotic resistance (‘ABR’) and how it has become an increasing concern to the medical professions, health services and governments of the world’s major economies.
Given its potential impact, the subject is now of increasing concern to insurers and reinsurers from a mortality perspective, and to a lesser extent pensions actuaries. The working party will present their draft research paper and model at the sessional meeting on 25 February, and will highlight the impact their conclusions will have for actuaries.
