The UN’s 17 global goals for sustainable development and their associated targets would eradicate all forms of poverty, in developed and developing nations, by 2030. Achieving the goals would have a transformative effect on the lives of all, right across the world.
Actuaries are increasingly being looked to in order to support the delivery of the UN’s SDGs. Already we are seeing actuaries working in innovative ways across the world to deliver progress across the whole range of the goals including climate-action, good health and well-being and reduced inequalities.
Join the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries as they explore the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the role actuaries have to play in achieving them.
