Core Technical (CT) exams now have reading time

We are pleased to announce that from the September 2016 session, all Core Technical (CT) exams will have 15 minutes reading time.

When setting the exam dates, the team in Oxford have to consider many factors, including UK and international bank holidays, and major religious holidays.  This does mean that sometimes we have to double up exams, and can result in a CT and an ST exam being held at the same time.

We recognise that this can be frustrating for those of you sitting a CT exam as you have to sit quietly for the first 15 minutes. Concerns raised through the student survey and from representatives on the Student Consultative Forums were discussed at a recent Education Committee meeting, leading to them making this decision.
