Consider this unusual long-term investment opportunity if you are looking for good returns with low risk.

On 28 September, Colm Fitzgerald will present an early evening event that explores and contrasts the benefits of forestry investment returns versus traditional long-term investment opportunities, such as equities.

Forestry is an asset class which seems to have gone unnoticed, but is likely to provide good investment returns.  Forestry could therefore be a highly desirable option, especially when one considers that the risks within the financial system are much higher than normal from the various quantitative and qualitative easing programmes by central banks around the world.

The presentation will provide materials to educate the potential investor to enable them to prudently invest in forestry while at the same time creating environmental, economic and social benefits for their country and the wider world.

Speakers

Colm Fitzgerald FIA FSAI is a member of the Actuarial Science Research Group at University Collge Dublin.  In addition to forestry, his research areas include risk and the psychology of risk, enterprise risk management, economics and banking, investment and financial markets, climate change and applying classical thought.

Colm will be joined at this event by Brendan Fitzsimons of the Irish Tree Council, and Brendan Lacey of the Irish Forestry Unit Trust / Irish Tree Growers Association.

When and where

This will be a short early evening event at Staple Inn Hall, London, starting at 17.00 with refreshments and followed by drinks reception.  Everyone is welcome.
