The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) Council sets the strategic direction of the IFoA and supports the delivery of the IFoA’s public interest objective. IFoA Council elections are your opportunity to ensure the actuarial profession is equipped to rise to the particular strategic challenges that lie ahead.

How to vote

If you are eligible to vote in the Council election you will have received an email from Electoral Reform Services (ERS) with the subject line: The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries - Council Election 2019.

This email will include a link to ERS’s secure online voting system, which will automatically input a unique two part security code to allow you to log in and vote.

Voting for the IFoA Council Elections 2019 closes at 12:00 (BST) on Monday 24 June.

There are 17 candidates for 8 seats for the General Constituency of the IFoA Council, and 3 candidates for 2 seats for the Scottish Constituency.

Election results

The results of this year’s election will be announced at the IFoA‘s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 June at The Hub, Edinburgh.

The AGM will be followed by a Presidential address from the IFoA’s incoming President, John Taylor, and then by a celebratory event for all of our members and volunteers. We hope to see you there.
