You may be aware that the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries recently approved the requirements for members performing the role of Chief Actuary in both life and non-life insurance companies to hold a Practising Certificate.
In order to give effect to those Practising Certificate requirements, we are pleased to announce that we have launched two consultations:
- one to introduce a new Actuarial Profession Standard to be known as APS G1: The Chief Actuary in Non-Life insurance, and
- the other, to amend APS L1: Duties and responsibilities of Life Assurance Actuaries.
