The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) has awarded the Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) accreditation to Cartwright Group Limited (actuarial services) after its successful application for inclusion in the flagship scheme.

The QAS is a voluntary accreditation scheme available on application to organisations that employ members of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).  It is designed for organisations who wish to demonstrate their commitment to effective quality assurance at the organisational level that underpins the quality of actuarial work.  All organisations receiving QAS accreditation have to pass a rigorous, independent assessment of their working environment, culture and processes.

Robert Sweet, Head of Actuarial Services, said:

Robert Sweet, Head of Actuarial ServicesWe are delighted to announce our accreditation under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' Quality Assurance Scheme.

Quality of service has always been at the heart of everything we do.  It was therefore good to be given the opportunity to have our working practices and culture independently assessed, and gratifying to receive the QAS accreditation as external recognition of our continual efforts in this area.

This can help give current and prospective clients reassurance, if any were needed, of our commitment to providing an excellent actuarial service.
