The role of Actuaries in Health and Care – Survey

Out of 30,000 members of the IFoA (December 2016), only 440 (1.5%) were identified as part of the health and care sector. With the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic and stresses on public health care financing systems throughout the world, a career in Health and Care is garnering increased attention amongst actuaries and would-be actuaries.

The Role of Actuaries in Health and Care working party was set up early this year to explore how the IFoA can better support those of its members looking to deepen their involvement in the Health and Care sector.

Your feedback through this poll will inform our report and feedback sessions with the IFoA Health and Care Board and Lifelong Learning Committee. All individual responses will be kept confidential.

Thank you for completing the survey which will take between five and ten minutes to complete.
