Saunak is currently working as a Pricing Actuary in the Casualty Asia Team for Swiss Re Global Services and currently based out of Bangalore, India.
In his current role, he leverages his knowledge on pricing and is heavily involved in providing analytical support for a wide variety of projects across the Asian region.
He has also earned extensive pricing experience in the Primary Insurance Market (across different lines like Motor, Casualty, Health) in his previous roles in RSA, AIG and AXA.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University, UK where he got a Scotland Saltire Scholarship as well as a Master of Science Degree in Statistics from University of Calcutta, India. He is interested in doing Volunteering work since it’s a great way to further the profession through research and meet fellow professionals from diverse fields. In his free time he likes spending time with his family (especially his small son), reading World History and he is quite passionate about football.
