This guide was produced by a joint working party set up by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) to support all users of climate-related financial disclosures (TCFD). It draws on the insights of both financial and sustainability risk practitioners to help users understand requirements from the TCFD, assess specific disclosures and engage with other professions and teams.
The guide provides an overview of climate-related financial disclosures and TCFD recommendations, outlines how to set objectives and provides practical guidance to help users interpret the disclosures.
