Exemptions from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ (IFoA's) professional exams

Depending on the modules taken and the grades obtained, completion of these degree programmes with the School of Economics and Management, at the University of Lisbon can lead to a recommendation for exemption from some or all of the exams shown.

For those enrolled from the September 2019 intake                           Exam Exemptions                                   
Masters in Actuarial Science CS1, CS2, CM1, CM2, CB1
BSc courses containing the two modules
  • Economics I
  • Economics II

For those enrolled before the September 2019 intake                             Exam Exemptions                                      
Masters in Actuarial Science CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT8
BSc courses containing the two modules
  • Economics I
  • Economics II
 CT7

Exemptions for previous subjects will be mapped to the corresponding subjects in the current curriculum when students apply.
