CMI Working Paper 144

CMI Working Paper 144 was published in December 2020. It contains a number of analyses that are intended to be helpful to users of the CMI Model, including:

• Analysis of mortality in 2020, including regional analysis.
• Mortality improvements by Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD).
• Mortality improvements in CMI datasets.
• Methods for customising the Model for future mortality scenarios.
• An analysis of the volatility of mortality improvements in a number of territories.
• A summary of progress on our work on causes of death.

An updated version of Working Paper 144 was issued in February 2021. That version corrects several figures for mortality improvements and confidence intervals that were mis-stated in Tables 6.5, A1.2, A1.3 and A1.4. The corresponding charts were not affected, so are unchanged.
