The CMI Mortality Projections Model – Interim update
CMI Working Paper 187 was published in February 2024. It contains a number of analyses that are intended to be helpful to users of the CMI Model, including:
- Analysis of mortality in 2020 to 2023 for the general population and in the CMI datasets.
- Further analysis of the impact of the 2021 census on the CMI Model and the CMI mortality monitor.
- An overview of our plans for CMI_2023.
- Mortality improvements by Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD).
- Mortality improvements in CMI datasets.
- A summary of progress on our work on causes of death.
