The Banking Debt Working Party is a Cross Practice Working Party which has been set up to look at and investigate the issues affecting banking debt
Key Objectives:
- Investigate bad debt reserving for banks in UK, Europe and USA; background and practice to bad debt reserving
- Decide the direction of the Working Party in areas such as:
- Accounting rules
- Legal
- Regulation
- Enforcement
- Letter v's spirit
Outputs:
The outputs of this Working Party are being decided upon and will be posted here in due course.
