The Finance and Investment Education Working Party was set up in August 2014 by the Finance and Investment Board to consider how the finance and investment specialist subjects can continue to meet the needs of actuaries to 2035

It will also feed into the first strategic review for 10 years by the IFoA as the F&I Board is keen to ensure that the material in the specialist subjects is up to date, relevant and fit for purpose for qualifying actuaries. The review will cover the various key components of the syllabi that meets the needs of actuaries for the next 5 to 20 years and the recommendations will be submitted to the Education Board.
