This Working Party identifies the roles actuaries have in life offices, along with trends, threats to and opportunities for actuaries
Objectives:
- to help the profession develop in a way that takes into account life office trends
- provide insight into issues such as the effects of past and proposed future regulation on actuaries’ work
- survey

- paper prepared by the working party: 'The roles of actuaries in UK life offices: changes and challenges', to appear in the British Actuarial Journal
- article in The Actuary magazine: 'Key Skills for Life'
- presentation to the Bristol Actuarial Society on 17 March 2015
