Anthony is Company Actuary at the Medical Defence Union (MDU) where he advises on all matters of an actuarial nature, including claims reserving, pricing, reinsurance purchase, long term business planning, and investment strategy. Anthony joined the MDU in 2009 from QBE, where he worked on the worldwide casualty account written from London, specialising in professional indemnity. He previously worked at St Paul of Lloyd's, Watson Wyatt, and the University of Oxford, where he was a Junior Research Fellow. Anthony qualified as an actuary in 2003, and is chair of the GIRO Periodic Payment Orders (PPO) Working Party.
