Following the publication of the IFoA's Resource and Environment Board's paper on Climate Change Management at COP21 in Paris, this talk expands on the message in the paper that climate change is a risk management problem - working from the principle that humanity's appetite for significant disruption to life as we know it on earth is limited to explore some principles around why risk management fails, risk interconnectedness, scenario analysis and possible management actions you can take as a global citizen.
